History Lesson on Your Social Security Card
Just in case some of you young whippersnappers (and some older ones) didn't know this.
It's easy to check out, if you don't believe it. Be sure and show it to your family
and friends. They need a little history lesson on what's what and it doesn't matter
whether you are Democrat or Republican. Facts are Facts.

Social Security

Cards up until the 1980s expressly stated the number and
Card were not to be used for identification purposes. Since nearly everyone in the
United States now has a number, it became convenient to use it anyway and the
message, NOT FOR IDENTIFICATION was removed.

Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social
Security (FICA) Program. He promised:

1) That participation in the Program would be
completely voluntary,

No longer Voluntary

2) That the participants would only have to pay
1% of the first $1,400 of their annual
incomes into the Program,

Now 7.65%
On the first $90,000.

3) That the money the participants elected to put
into the Program would be deductible from
their income for tax purposes each year,

No longer tax deductible

4) That the money the participants put in went to the
Independent 'Trust Fund' rather than into the
General Operating Fund, and therefore, would
only be used to fund the Social Security
Retirement Program, and no other
Government program, and,

Under Johnson the money was moved to
The General Fund and spent.

5) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed
as income.

Under Clinton & Gore
up to 85% of your Social Security can be taxed.

Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are
now receiving a Social Security check every month --
and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of
the money we paid to the Federal government to 'put

The 2009 awarding of the Nobel Peace prize to Barack Bush is just more sad proof that we are doomed.

Doomed because humans are nothing but purely emotional beings which are totally ruled by cognitive biases and motivated reasoning.

This November there is a vote in the United States.

Voting however is a purely emotional action - people vote for who they like which is based on emotion - nothing else.

Every four years people will argue and debate and make memes and articles and stories and advertisements all based on various forms of logos, ethos or pathos.

AS IF it made a difference!

The choice was made in the voters' minds long before the election - all of the debates and TV shows and advertisements are totally superfluous!

The Europeans are also a special case.

I have lived in Germany now since 1995. 

One of the most profound realizations I have had is that the Europeans and especially the Germans are not one single bit smarter, more enlightened, or more mature or educated than the Americans. Lo, The Nobel committee and the "international community" have once and for all delivered the definitive proof that they are even more emotional and succumb to cognitive biases even more than the Americans.

Logic?

Truth?

Reason?

All ridiculous jokes in Europe!

Almost all Europeans automatically love Obama - and they don't even know why!

I recently asked a 24 year old work colleague of mine who she would vote for if she could in the USA.

She said "Obama, because he's closer to the people".

Interesting, and indeed I was impressed that she gave me a reason that she believed in and not a knee jerk rationalization like most Americans would.

But nevertheless proof of the sickening European mindset.

How does a 24 year old European even have an opinion about a politician they have no idea about?

Indeed my colleague admitted she knows nothing about politics.

This is our dilemma in a nutshell - people all over the world are allowed to vote - but in absence of all facts or knowledge we are mercilessly delivered to our cognitive biases i.e. pure emotion.

And where do these emotions come from?

Well they can only come from one place if you don't have any other sources - the mainstream media!

WE ARE DOOMED!

In seeking the truth, one becomes a polemic or as I like to say a "polarizer".

I have to laugh when I see such titles as "conservative" given to certain European politicians (see Kaci Kullmann Five above).

After having lived on two continents I can soundly and resolvedly tell you there is no such thing as a "conservative" politician in Europe.

In Europe there is only LEFT and FARTHER LEFT!

Indeed, the Nobel committee was completely successful in making the Nobel Peace Prize totally devoid of all value... even its symbolic value!
It has become a black mark for its receivers, a curse, a prime indicator of irony, hypocrisy and criminal distortion of the truth.
Any decent normal person nowadays would shirk at the thought of receiving the same prize awarded to the likes of Kissinger, Obama, or even the EU!

I'm one quarter Norwegian. I'm sorry. I renounce it and it wasn't just the whales.

Alfred Nobel wrote the Peace Prize should go to the one who–

A year ago today a man engaged in running two wars, uncounted secret prisons where persons are tortured to death, and giving orders that result in the incidental murder of thousands of civilians annually was given the Nobel Peace Pizzle by the five square-heads so drunk off their asses on Eksport and Aass Bock, so utterly high on the smell of their own progressiveness, so white they are in danger of getting lost in the lightest snowfall, so over-laden with the burden of raising Negroes to international power, and so dizzy in love with irony that they gave a Peace Prize to the manager of the biggest kill machine in history they had to be called the Norwegian Nobel Committee.

I do not agree with or condone his use of the word "negroe", however in Europe it is still acceptable - especially among the older generations. Political correctness has not replaced it quite yet with "African American" etc.
He could have just as easily used the word "idiot" because race is irrelevant here.

Ethel Rosenberg didn't want to die - they had to fry her thrice(sic) in the electric chair!
The first "light her up" didn't work; so they fried her again til her hair started smoking! If you look at the facts, she did less than Clinton to betray our country's security. At first the republicans were going to base the impeachment trials of Clinton on these "MIRV" facts; but they thought they had an open and shut case with the Monica Lewinsky scandal. How wrong they were! Clinton is a lawyer! Correction- Clinton WAS a lawyer. He is the first president in U.S. history to be stripped of his license by the BAR. But we know how the rest of the impeachment went.....looks like they should've used the MIRV argument after all.
