I remember a day when there was such a thing known as "accountability", and also "responsibility".

In the old days, that is, the Pre-Clinton Era days, when a leader was caught lying, he was held responsible. He got punished, or even impeached.  When we have a war crimes trial, who goes to the Hague -- the foot soldier, or the general? -- or even the President?

Nowadays our supposed 'leaders' are of the most cowardly childish sorts. When confronted with their failures they just hold out their arm and point to the person next to them, in an eternal loop of denial.

This is the Crime of Clinton. He made lying fashionable.

Before - there was accountability, now ... nothing.

What the liberals fail to admit, is that true to their own battle cry of "It's Bush's fault", the previous president sets the game-board for the next. Clinton paved the way for 'Bush's Wars' quite literally. He set the field, got all the international players against each other, and then he delivered the next president the tools -- i.e. approved pre-emptive lying -- for the execution of his wars.

This is the failure of the Democrat party that no one wants to fess up to.

Just in case some of you young whippersnappers (and some older ones) didn't know this.
It's easy to check out, if you don't believe it. Be sure and show it to your family
and friends. They need a little history lesson on what's what and it doesn't matter

Social Security

Cards up until the 1980s expressly stated the number and
Card were not to be used for identification purposes. Since nearly everyone in the
United States now has a number, it became convenient to use it anyway and the
message, NOT FOR IDENTIFICATION was removed.

Security (FICA) Program. He promised:

1) That participation in the Program would be
completely voluntary,

No longer Voluntary

2) That the participants would only have to pay
1% of the first $1,400 of their annual
incomes into the Program,

Now 7.65%
On the first $90,000.

3) That the money the participants elected to put
into the Program would be deductible from
their income for tax purposes each year,

No longer tax deductible

4) That the money the participants put in went to the
Independent 'Trust Fund' rather than into the
General Operating Fund, and therefore, would
only be used to fund the Social Security
Retirement Program, and no other
Government program, and,

Under Johnson the money was moved to
The General Fund and spent.

5) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed
as income.

Under Clinton & Gore
up to 85% of your Social Security can be taxed.

Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are
now receiving a Social Security check every month --
and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of
the money we paid to the Federal government to 'put

There has been a landmark decision in the supreme court, effectively ruling the DOMA as unconstitutional. Let’s reflect on that a bit... the DOMA, the Defense Of Marriage Act which defined marriage clearly as being between one man and one woman. In 1996 the DOMA was signed into law by Bill Clinton. This leads us to at least three wonderful logical juxtapositions, or better said ‘impossibilities’:

1. This means that in 1996 an unconstitutional Act was passed:
1. How can this happen? If it is unconstitutional NOW it was unconstitutional THEN...right? Or has our supreme court changed somehow between now and then (hint; yes!)?
2. Why is congress passing unconstitutional laws?
3. If this is really so, is Congress capable at all of judging what is constitutional anymore?
4. Is the constitution being abused as a tool to control the people? See the 18th  amendment - PROHIBITION please.

1. Why is Bill Clinton passing unconstitutional laws?
2. If Bill Clinton is such a great guy, why is he passing laws against his supposed base of supporters?
3. If the Democrats are such champions of the LGBT community why is their ‘God’ doing such things? Or are they really not as ‘progressive’ as everyone thinks?

3. If your leftist progressive friend retorts with motivated reasoning: “Well that wasn’t his idea, he was forced by the Republicans” etc. this implies he is not responsible for this Act.
1. If he is not responsible for this Act then he is also not responsible for others e.g. The Contract With America which gave the US a balanced budget and a surplus:
1. The Democrats are all too eager to give Clinton credit for this at every chance they get, even though it was 100% Newt Gingrich’s baby.

4. Inversely, if the President is indeed responsible for what he signs and does have a choice (and is not ‘forced’ by the opposition) then how does that reflect on Obama?
1. He signed the NDAA - indefinite detention.

3. His official policy to fight terrorism is to cowardly snipe the terrorists from ultra long distance with predator drones, effectively killing more civilians than terrorists!
4. But ... he also ‘got’ Osama.

Oh how fitting, the day after I wrote this the US embassy was attacked in Libya, and Christopher Stevens and three others were killed.
It followed even more attacks from Egypt to Yemen and even Australia!

At first the republicans were going to base the impeachment trials of Clinton on these "MIRV" facts; but they thought they had an open and shut case with the Monica Lewinsky scandal. How wrong they were! Clinton is a lawyer! Correction- Clinton WAS a lawyer. He is the first president in U.S. history to be stripped of his license by the BAR. But we know how the rest of the impeachment went.....looks like they should've used the MIRV argument after all.
