Wolf Biermann - Hero - The German George Orwell

25 Years after the fall of the Wall, the German parliament celebrates German reunification on this historic day with a song from a seasoned dissident.

This video is a golden nugget of anti-communism.

It is also an excellent piece to study for any German language students.
Background:
Wolf Biermann was actually a member of the East German Socialist party during communist times and the iron curtain.  He worked hard and advanced in the ranks too. However, somewhere around the middle he became too "effective" and criticized the powers that be in East Germany. Wolf refused to compromise his principles and recognized the SED, the East German Socialist party, for what it was and still is; a despotic dictatorship bent on the destruction of free will and individual freedoms, with Nazi like efficiency and non-tolerance of opposing views. All of this under the ruse of "making the world a better place for all mankind" of course, as usual the communist BS ad nauseum.  Wolf and his colleagues were jailed and in a funny twist of fate, he was stripped of his East German Citizenship and EXPELLED to West Germany!

  The sweetest part of this video? He tells off the Left-Communist jerks in parliament.  This must be a very emotional conversation for him, remember he lived in East Germany and suffered along with other people under these very communists sitting now in the WEST German Bundestag (parliament)!

Notice the framing:
Inequality is bad, it must be corrected.

Case in point:
Christian Felber recently published THE EXACT SAME book a couple of years ago, "Die Gemeinwohl Ökonomie". It is the exact same thing; he goes on about how income inequality is mean and evil and how there should be a global progressive tax to "correct" the income inequality. He goes on to propose a new Bank, with a new global money -- the "Globo".

So why is Pikkety's book a bestseller?
Because it is really easy to manipulate people's emotions. And when it comes to emotional manipulation, income inequality is the big one, right next to racism, discrimination and gun control.

Don't let all of the big names fool you, e.g. Paul Krugman raves about this book.

What this book really does is reveal the biases of all the reviewers. And that it does well.
Paul Krugman is a foaming at the mouth neo-communist Keynesian maniac. And of course he has a Nobel Prize, so that makes his foaming at the mouth better, right?

I prefer to live in a free society.
That means if I can get ahead and make a fortune for myself, then I will, and I don't want any jealous loser screaming "That's not fair!"

There is always going to be inequality, there is always going to be someone with more money than you. And that is going to put a spike in the graph.
It is NOT OK to try and eliminate that spike. It is NOT "fair" to steal money from other people and make things "fair" by distributing stolen money.

Progressive taxes penalize winners and award losers - that's just plain wrong.
That spike in the graph is supposed to be there -- it is indicative of a free society, especially when any class can move into that spike.
That is called "INCOME MOBILITY" and it is much, much, more important than income inequality.

It is of course intentional that income mobility is not mentioned in this book.

But this book was not written to give a full picture of the situation, it was written to amplify one statistic in the framework of communism and Marxist thinking in order play on your emotions. The typical modus operandi of despotism.

Inequality is a lie. I don't want everything to be equal, if that were the case we would be robots ... no thanks.

So if you wanna waste your 20 bucks and join the circle jerk of moron communists that still haven't woken up, go ahead and buy this book.

"Fair" and "Monkeys in a Cage Syndrome"

I recently had a very interesting conversation with a German friend of mine.

We were talking about how a recent seminar in Poland is going to cost 120€ for East Bloc residents but 150€ for "Westerners".

She said "Oh that's 'fair' because they can't afford it".

That was of course my cue, nothing pisses me off more than when "fairness" is used to rationalize cognitive dissonance - relativize rip-offs- and enable scammers! 

So I offered her a couple of examples , I did not want to steer a "crash course" with her but tried to use people skills á la Carnegie:

"OK if you think that's fair, then how do you feel when we go to Greece, and at the local shop a bottle of water costs 25 cents for my Greek friend, but when I want a bottle of water - it costs 1 full euro?"

"Oh , now that's a rip-off!" she replied!

Me "So do you see how the principle is the same? It's also a rip-off for the Polish seminar?"

Her "hmmmmm, mmm, uhhh, NO! Because they are paying the 'realpreis' ".

This translates to "real price" and is an intrinsic part of the "Labor Theory of Value" and was originally coined by Adam Smith but seems to be nowadays nothing but another form of marxism.

This was right up my alley because it is a perfect example of the psychological savvy upper level politicians and communists have when using words to actually convey the opposite of their actual meaning and rip people off.

So I had a smart one here, a college educated girl, this was going to be difficult indeed.

"This 'real price' you are referring to, is just like the word 'fair', they are both bullshit words designed to help you accept a rip-off. Why did you automatically without even thinking blurt out that the example of the Greek bottled water was a rip-off, but the Polish example is not? The math is the same. But you have been conditioned by your schools and colleges to replace your good sense and math with emotions, and this word 'fair' is the enabler whereby in this case it is the absolute opposite of fair".

She replied without answering the question of course "Well take for example Norway, gas is ridiculously expensive there, if we were to travel to Norway and were to pay the 'real price' you would be happy wouldn't you?" (because we would have to pay less, coming from Germany according to her model)

Me "What!? So the Norwegians have to operate at a loss - because I would 'feel good'? ! So according to your model, when we travel to Spain, we have to pay more for gas - you see how that's bullshit? You are taking the natural laws out of the equation and replacing them with emotion. Even worse - you are making a character judgement on the person at the time. You are penalizing or rewarding him based on YOUR misconceptions of him! That's intrinsically wrong."

She brooded over that, I offered more:

"So if me and you go into a Polish supermarket, and we buy some eggs, are they more expensive for us because we come from Germany, or do we pay the Polish price in Poland?"

Blank stare - the obvious fact is we would pay the Polish price just like all other Polish people do in their supermarkets.

I tried another angle - my college girl was smart but NOT closed minded. Yes she has been "educated" in some of the top German universities, which unfortunately today means you are conditioned to neo-communism and to automatically turn off your self-esteem and values in order to ignore facts and sacrifice yourself to the machine known as the modern European "Sozial-Staat". In other words Newspeak has once again showed itself as supreme and fully taken over!

"I don't want to criticize or attack you, but I was forced to look at this problem and look at myself very critically recently. You see I sell products in Etsy. Etsy has become very successful, so successful that they are now opening a branch in Germany. Now I have a product that costs 30$ in the American Etsy. So my American customers are paying 30$ plus postage and handling. Now when the German shop opened - I noticed I wanted to charge more for the German customers! And why was this? I said the same things you just did. I RATIONALIZED my thoughts, but why do I have to rationalize this? Why is it bugging me? The Germans can afford to pay more! I wanted to make the product 35$ in Germany OR charge 30 euros for the 30 dollar product (a net gain). I had to go deep inside myself, and I kept coming to the sentence 'because I can get more out of the Germans' . This finally led me to the conclusion that this is true cognitive dissonance, my core values were fighting with each other. My principles say, that 30 dollar product in America is the same value in Germany i.e. 30 dollars - YOU set the price! And I came to the realization the cause of this is GREED - 'I can get more out of the Germans'.  So the next day I offered my product in the German Etsy for 30 dollars and stayed true to my principles. But it really clarified things for me."

She was listening, she was not "shutting off" to me in typical modern European neo-communist fashion - when you hear the truth - shut your ears.

"So here is another example, let's say this seminar in Poland is not open to west Europeans. Only locals are going. What is the price of the seminar then? Will it still happen or are they going to NOT have it because the westerners are not coming?"

More staring and thinking on her part, I hope I really reached her. When talking or arguing with people, I have learned there is absolutely no point in arguing or trying to force your point. 

YOU WILL NEVER CONVINCE ANYONE! 

Especially people who are totally on the other side of your spectrum.

But what you can do - like Dale Carnegie said - is get them saying "Yes - Yes" (see his book How to Win Friends and Influence People)

NEVER go head to head, you have to be on the same side.

Now it is not my talent to get people saying yes-yes, but what I like to do is just offer examples and questions that force the people to confront their values or the problem at hand. 

Kind of like a Zen Koan.

We were at a crossroads, my friend was just sitting there, thinking, and I could see she was not closing her mind.

Then I kind of screwed up, instead of being real savvy and using this moment of deep immersion to plant a post hypnotic suggestion, I went off on a tangent:

"This is exactly the kind of stuff that pisses me off, how people use words to destroy the truth. Take for example the progressive tax..."

Boom! She woke up (me idiot!):

"Oh but that's fair too - the rich should pay more!"

Aaargh - we were doing so well!

My response:

"Wait a second - do the math. PERCENT is progressive already that's why it's called "per-cent", "Pro-cent" , or "per-centile" , per- person, per- unit etc.

So 30 percent of a rich person's pay check IS indeed more than 30 percent of my paycheck. Do you see that? That's why it is so important to speak in terms of per-cent sometimes to get at the real underlying value of a judgement. That's why even one tenth of a percent raise in a tax should be fought tooth and nail! The rich already are paying more in taxes. The progressive tax is pure communism - the more you make the more they take. This is purposefully designed to EQUALIZE people, admittedly by the communists. Where as percent is already by it's nature progressive. Once again you are penalizing or rewarding people based on your emotions and not on natural laws or math."

Then her neo-communist "modern European" conditioned response came in not one millisecond later:

"Oh but the money has to come from somewhere! What about the poor people?"

Man, just when we were doing so good, my college educated girl was breaking down to the lowest emotional level, no more reasoning or logic to be seen here.

"Look, I do not want to dismantle your 'Sozial-Staat', but the government has proven it cannot manage money. The answer to failing policies is NOT to keep on raising taxes. Do you agree that taxes cannot be raised indefinitely?"

Her "Well yes"

Me "We already have enough money, raising taxes just covers up a problem and performs a work around, but the poor people are receiving even less! But why do you automatically say 'the money has to come from somewhere' - is this a result of your conditioning?"

"Well I believe in the Social-State"

"OK - like said I don't want to take that away from you- I like the idea of a 'social-NET' but not enforced by the state, as they have proven bad managers of such. The problem we have now is that we are monkeys in a cage. If you put a monkey in a cage where there is a lever which gives him a shot of cocaine every time he pushes the lever - he will hit that lever continuously every 5 seconds until he is DEAD! This experiment has been done over and over again always with the same results. We are that monkey- forever voting for "free" money and handouts and 'social-programs' into oblivion. On the other hand, you got the politicians in the cage - forever hitting the lever and receiving taxes. We can't go on like this. Socialism is cannibalism - a system of death, nothing more. This is actually what happened when Lenin got in power, he tried to implement socialism exactly like in the book down to the smallest detail. The results were catastrophic and in the first week he had to start compromising and go against true socialism. His policies actually lead to the cannibalism which happened during the Russian famine of 1921. And for these reasons Socialism and all of its forms will always fail - they were designed to fail from the beginning by ignoring natural laws, math and good common sense and replacing them with buzzwords and newspeak lies.
And the word FAIR is the great enabler in all of this. Whenever you hear the word 'fair' nowadays - you know someone is trying to rip you off. In the meantime we keep sitting in the cage hitting that lever."

"Oh..." she said.

German Communist Nazis - Petra Pau

The interesting thing about German politicians is the absolute paradox under which they live.
They are the living breathing example of George Orwell’s “Double Think”:

• They choose the same symbology as the Nazis
• Even the same colors
• They choose the same methods as the Nazis
• Sippenhaft
• the SS chief Heinrich Himmler told a meeting of Gauleiters in Posen that he would "introduce absolute responsibility of kin... a very old custom practiced among our forefathers."
• They conduct witch-hunts and persecute people for their beliefs

• Oh and last but not least, their “hero” is a hardcore - anti-semite

You are "guilty" of being “rechts” if:

So basically, they are the thought police with Nazi methods and German efficiency –

By any book or definition – I would say they are the biggest Nazis.

Yet they propose to be “fair”.
“Fair” seems to be the biggest misnomer of the century.
If you want to understand the communists you only need to look at their mission statement - it reads like "the Whiney Bitch Manifesto":

• It’s not “fair” that you have more X than me
• It’s not “fair” that you are prettier than me
• It’s not “fair” that you are successful
• It’s not “fair” that your car is bigger than mine
• It’s not “fair” that you are smarter than me
• It’s not “fair” that you could be better at something than me...
• It’s not “fair” that you could be better than me in any way at all...

So now we have the ultimate example of this Nazi-communist phenomena:

Petra Pau - the Absolute denial of self and womanhood 

She is leading the witch-hunt against Nadja Drygalla – of the German Olympic Rowing team – because – now get this....her boyfriend was (yes past tense) in the “Right wing” scene!

She has never been “guilty” of being right/rechts, but her boyfriend was – indeed he was a party member - but not anymore.

Guilty of being blond

 That is of course enough for Petra Pau – the champion of freedom and morals in the perverted weltanschauung existing between her ears- to come down on Mrs.Drygalla with hell’s fury.

“It is not acceptable” – she says – “that the German olympic committee knew of her right wing involvement before they sent her to the olympics.”

She wants heads to role and Ms. Drygalla to be expelled from the team.

It is bad enough that communism is accepted in Germany – funny too- because Stalin’s 20+ million dead don’t count – only Hitler’s dead count.

In Germany, the left is automatically right – no matter what they do.

You may not challenge the left, if you do you will be deposed and criminalized with Nazi efficiency.

In today's Germany this is called “tolerance” and “meinungsfreiheit” – freedom of speech.

When Communism collapsed in the 90’s – all of the communist politicians in East Germany simply joined another West German party – usually the left leaning SPD or, as in Pau’s case the PDS.

Like previously said, it is OK to worship communist dictators and murderers , just not “right” or rechts – dictators and murderers.

Can you imagine what would have happened to him if he was “rechts”!?

As long as you’re in the right (or more correctly “left”) party you can do whatever you want.

In Psychology 101 we learn that the first and foremost prerequisite to positive mental health is positive self-esteem.
It is no secret and you do not have to be a brain surgeon to understand this.

However, Germany has been persecuting and penalizing anyone and anything that even comes near a positive self image.

Patriotism and being proud of oneself – two interlocking things – is not legal in Germany.
A positive self-image is undeniably connected to the country and society you belong to.

The German government and institutions think that you can separate the two and at the same time come up with a positive country and national image and a happy people.

They are in total self-denial.

It’s OK to be German,

You are just doing more harm than good by persecuting “fake” nazis.
Stop the witch-hunt in your schools and institutions.
Accept your past as the past and get on with it.

Until the day the politicians leave the people alone,
and they can say – “yeah I’m German and proud of it” – to no ill effect...

Pertinent to all communism is a phenomena known as “Selbsthass” or “Self-hatred” in English.

The “father” of communism is yet another perfect example of this – Karl Marx.

Since a communist hates himself, he cannot bear to see other people excel.
Instead of trying himself to excel, fueled by self-hatred the communist concludes that he has no chance, and instead endevors to “even the field”.

REVENGE OF THE ZEROS

This mental illness known as self-hatred is strangely common in the entire western world - but nowhere is it so extremely manifested as in Germany, especially in the Green party of Germany.
The greens – as far as I’m concerned- are nothing but communists of a different color.

If you want to understand them;  their mission statement is just a little variation of the communist mission statement:

· Humans are the problem
· The world would be a better place without humans

In Germany there is no such thing as a right wing, or conservative party.

Well I just couldn’t resist this one – maybe I will have to make a separate section – “biggest bastards europe” etc.
But the lessons of communism are still pertinent – especially for America , right now, which is transforming into a “transfer state”.

TSA part 3 - Just doing my job män!

The TSA

I hate communism.

I have a personal reason for this livid hate.

My family had to escape from the Russian forces....twice!

Once east of Danzig and then later in Dresden.

My uncle was smuggled over the border to West Germany in one of those huge metal Milk jugs the farmers used.

He was only 4 at the time so he fit in.

My grandfather led people across the border through mine fields and booby trapped forests near Fulda in the 50's.

One time he was leading a group of people in the pitch black of midnight through the forest, suddenly the hairs on the back of his neck stood up. 

He said "Stop! We'll have to camp here for the night. Don't move....just sit down where you are and go to sleep there."

When they woke up in the morning, they were less than a meter from the edge of the cliff, a sheer drop!

So in the 80's when I was a teenager, my father brought me to East Germany - the DDR.

I was more than excited.

I finally got to see first hand what communism is and what it does.

The experience was harrowing, and simultaneously the single most educating experience of my entire life.

Still to this day.

I will spare you the details for now - they could fill a book - and I think that will indeed be a separate book or blog.

But what I wan't to give you is this - WE DEFINITELY DO NOT WANT TO GO THERE ANYMORE!

I mean "WE" as a nation. 

I have seen first hand the workings, the impact, the reality of life in a police state.

It was harrowing - especially since I could leave the DDR, but my family could not (some relatives of mine were not able to make it to the West after the war).

What is even more scary, is when I see the parallels between East Germany and modern day America.

• Everyone is afraid of the police
  
• people do not trust each other - not even their own family
  
• There is a disproportionate amount of police per civilian
  
• You have NO recourse to the law
  
• Indeed, the laws are re-defined on a perpetual basis to suit the politicians' needs (see Eric Holder - separate post)
  
• The law only applies to civilians - police and government workers are magically exempt.
  
• People are encouraged to snitch on each other (see new TSA sign)

I think I will end the list for now and continue it in the book/blog about DDR!

Nevertheless, I think you get the point. 

George Orwell and Ayn Rand tried to warn us back in the 40's and 50's about this tyranny!

In their books - Animal Farm, 1984, Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead - they seriously warned us.

Interesting is the fact that the words "communism", "Nazism", "socialism" never appear once in their books.

They describe oppression, and do NOT name it.

Why?

So that we will recognize oppression when we see it and not only when it is called by name.

This is important.

It does not matter one single iota if your government calls itself democrat or republican or green.

If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck.....

Which after comparing 1980's DDR to present day America - brings me to the sobering realization:

AMERICA IS A POLICE STATE!

THESE ARE THE EXACT SAME CIRCUMSTANCES AS THE DDR! 

Right now, at this very moment.

Friends, I DO NOT FEEL SAFER HERE THAN I DID IN THE DDR IN 1986!

This is sad.

Paranoia?

NO.

DO YOU FEEL SAFER WHEN YOU GO TO THE AIRPORT NOW?

ARE YOU MORE AFRAID OF THE TSA THAN THE TERRORISTS NOW?

No dammit! I am not paranoid! I'm just a pissed off citizen who definitely knows what freedom is and sees it being taken away, right from under our feet!

And how? Because everyone is too fucking blinded:

Blinded by LABELS

Blinded by Politicians speaking NEWSPEAK

Blinded by CONSUMERISM

Blinded by HOLLYWOOD

Blinded by CORPORATE America

and the list goes on....

I can not change the world in this little blog here, but I hope to do one thing and that is give you some clarity.

If we stop looking at LABELS and start looking at the real underlying cause ...

If we see through the newspeak....then that is a very good start.

And that's the most important thing, to start.
